Festive atmosphere in the office
The end of year celebrations in general are among the most anticipated events. Celebrating Christmas at the office offers an opportunity to create a friendly and festive atmosphere.
At Hexagone, we are proud to announce a partnership that is particularly close to our hearts, with a key player in eco-responsibility: Eco Impact. But yes, you already know Eco Impact! It is the French reference in terms of eco-score for furniture. As a specialist in the environmental impact of furniture and an active member of government working groups with ADEME, Eco Impact supports more than 100 brands, and we are delighted to be part of this great adventure.
Since the launch of our Hexagreen range, our upcycled furniture, we have always had one objective in mind: to offer solutions that are both sustainable and respectful of our planet. With our hexascore, we had already implemented a tool to measure the carbon emissions of our Hexagreen products and to share clear and reliable information on their environmental impact with our customers. But today, thanks to our partnership with Eco Impact, we are moving up a gear!
A global analysis for a local impact
With Eco Impact, a whole new dimension of transparency and precision is available to us. Their method? A complete analysis of the life cycle of furniture, taking into account each stage, from production to recycling, to avoid the effects of “communicating vessels”. No less than 12 to 16 impact indicators are examined: air, water, soil pollution, depletion of natural resources... Eco Impact thus allows us to quantify the impact of each product in detail. This rigorous approach is based on the requirements of the Climate and Resilience Law aimed at informing consumers about the environmental impact of products in order to help them make the best choices. Eco Impact is actively participating in discussions on furniture environmental labelling, which will soon become mandatory (for more information, see our article on The AGEC law). The approach focuses on Life Analysis and takes into account qualitative criteria such as sustainability, reparability and working conditions.
The verdict is in... and it is brilliant!
Suffice to say that waiting for the results was full of suspense for us: yes, we are doing everything we can to reduce our footprint, but would that be enough? Fortunately, thanks to the expertise and responsiveness of the Eco Impact teams, the verdict was not long in coming... and what a joy to discover that our entire Hexagreen range obtained an A grade! Yes, you read that right: from our Silène wardrobe modules to the Ibéris seats to the Acanthe storage units, all of our products are among the 20% most sustainable on the market.
A recognition that encourages us to go even further
As you know, at Hexagone, no greenwashing! When we say that our products are sustainable, we prove it. But we are not going to stop there. Trained and supported by Eco Impact over the long term, we are already working on our next range of new furniture, designed and designed down to the smallest detail to integrate all the parameters of eco-design: ethical sourcing of materials, choice of committed suppliers, committed suppliers, innovative manufacturing techniques, innovative manufacturing techniques, innovative manufacturing techniques, maximum repairability, and exemplary recyclability.
And tomorrow? Even more sustainability with hexagon!
At Hexagone, we firmly believe that it is possible to create beautiful and sustainable things. Our Hexagreen range is proof of our expertise in upcycled furniture, but it is only the beginning. We want to go even further and to continue to support our customers towards ever more responsible developments. Together, let's make each project one step closer to a greener future!
