Why turn to upcycled furniture?
You are moving or optimizing your workspaces. Whether it is to improve the working environment of your employees or to make your offices a real business showcase, this is a high-stakes project. You already have furniture but it is difficult to imagine it in your new layout. However, is it really reasonable to throw away all these goods? At Hexagone, we want to convince you that it is possible to make beauty out of what is no longer beautiful. In addition, did you know that this technique allowed you to take concrete action on your carbon footprint by saving you several tons of CO2 emissions? Opting for upcycled/reused or reused furniture is the ideal solution to meet your responsible design challenges.
How to give a second life to your office furniture?
hexagon integrates your vision and requirements into each stage of design and manufacturing. By promoting eco-design, using upcycling techniques and a maximum of eco-responsible materials, we create unique pieces that combine aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. Working hand in hand with your teams at each stage, we guarantee a final result that is perfectly in line with your expectations. The hexagreen methodology is based on four key steps:
Hexagreen audit
The pre-project and design phase at Hexagone is essential to precisely align our creative proposals to your needs. It includes the analysis of existing furniture, the estimation of the space required, measurements and detailed photos of your space, followed by in-depth discussions with our customers and their architects. This essential step ensures that each tailor-made furniture solution will integrate perfectly into your environment, while respecting your aesthetic and functional expectations.
Response to the global project
hexagone combines new custom furniture and upcycled/reused hexagreen furniture to create beautiful and sustainable workspaces. By selecting designer pieces and integrating upcycled and recycled elements, we ensure a perfect balance between functionality, beauty and ecological commitment.
Operational phase
hexagone ensures efficient and eco-responsible manufacturing, delivery and installation, in line with a precise schedule. We optimize transport to minimize CO2 emissions and carry out the installation in a professional manner, thus guaranteeing a reduced environmental impact while perfectly meeting your needs.
Hexagreen review
Assessment inspired by the QuantiGES method, a methodical and structured approach aimed at evaluating the carbon footprint of our development projects. This rigorous approach allows us to precisely quantify the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the production, delivery and installation of our furniture. At the end of this review, we issue an official certificate attesting to the efforts made to minimize the environmental impact of our activities. This certificate serves as a tangible proof of your commitment and is a guarantee of transparency towards our customers.

faq
Is a hexagreen project faster than a global new project?
A French project will take as long as a 100% new “standard” global project. Indeed, taking over your furniture and adapting it to your new needs requires an in-depth technical study and drawings that are almost similar to product design for some. It is the assurance of a response adjusted to the millimeter!
Upcycling/reusing... is it cheaper?
Well that depends. It is true that one might think that starting from an existing piece of furniture could save time, and therefore money. While Hexagreen necessarily requires less material, Hexagreen's upcycling studies represent a lot of work time for our teams. There is no secret: only human brains can think of technical solutions like these and it is this added human value that makes our projects even more ethical. In fact, it's all a question of numbers and needs, it's always a case by case basis.
Why upcycling/reusing rather than buying brand-new furniture?
One does not prevent the other. It is important to know that upcycled/reused furniture represents between 20 and 30% of an overall project. This portion of second-hand furniture will also become mandatory in France in the coming years. Even if we seek with Hexagreen to achieve the maximum amount of upcycled/reused/reused furniture, we necessarily punctuate our development projects with designer furniture from hand-picked partners. Whether it's hexagreen furniture, new furniture, or a bit of both, the result will always be BEAUTIFUL and DURABLE!
Is it possible to see material samples or prototypes prior to production?
Absolutely.hexagreen values transparency and ensures that customers can view, test, and approve material samples or prototypes/mock ups. You only believe what you see, so we will only start production after validation of the prototype.
What guarantees do you offer on upcycled furniture?
Hexagone, through its hexagreen solution, offers guarantees on upcycled furniture that attest to its quality and durability. To get straight to the point: hexagon can guarantee between 5 and 8 years for upcycled furniture and extend the life of your furniture at least as much.
